- 1 tbsp. corn starch
- 1 tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 cups cooked rice

Method
- In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, corn starch, and brown sugar.
- Add sliced beef and marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
- Add minced garlic and stir-fry for 10 seconds.
- Add sliced onion and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes or until slightly softened.
- Add sliced bell peppers and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes or until slightly softened.
- Remove vegetables from the wok and set aside.
- Add marinated beef to the wok and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes or until cooked through.
- Return vegetables to the wok and stir-fry for an additional 1-2 minutes or until heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
- Serve beef stir fry over cooked rice.
